• Makeup – we have Professional makeup artists to make you look amazing for the day all day and into the night AND so you look gorgeous for the oh so important photos that you will keep forever.

• Wedding parties- With over 30 treatments to chose from and the facilities that we have a full hair Design & make-up studio within the spa we can cater to wedding parties.  Perhaps some canapes and champagne to calm those pre-wedding nerves, we can arrange it all for you.

• Hens days- We have a full range of treatments to enjoy with your Hens- how about our Spa Pedicure for a truly memorable experience  together, a traditional mud cleansing ritual, or some slimming cellulite busting treatments, manicures, massage………… too much to choose from we can help you plan it all.

Here is a pre-wedding beauty checklist to give you an idea of the sorts of treatments you can have to be ready for the big day.

 

6 months ahead. Begin with a consultation with your personal beauty therapist to plan a course of high performance facials.  You will be assured of the best possible outcome for your skin and ensure your skin is clear and radiant for your special day.   The highly professional beauty therapists at aroma ki will do a full skin analysis and recommend the perfect course of facials to address your specific skincare needs.  A facial each month for 6 months will ensure your complexion is radiant for your wedding day and for those memorable photographs.

 

3 months ahead.  A great time to begin a detox and nourish your body with a Herbal Mud Wrap or the Slimming/Detox Wrap that exfoliates your skin and draw out impurities whilst infusing rich nutrients.  You can also detox at a cellular level with the new far infra red sauna which helps relax, detox, combat cellulite, and even remove those harmful toxins, including heavy metals!  A series of 10 is recommended.  Also great when combined with a healthy diet and exercise it helps with weight loss and unsightly cellulite.

 

2 months ahead. You’re probably starting to think about hair and makeup.  Nelson Day Spa has a sensational senior stylist who will help with designing the perfect look for you on your special day including the Hairdesign and colour.

Relax and enjoy this time.  You may wish to commence a course of massages, aromatherapy or why not the mind melting hot stone massage, perhaps with your partner in the couples’ room.  This will help you relax so you can focus on everything you need to attend to before the wedding.

 

During the week prior to the wedding.  A great time to have your lashes and brows tinted and you should have a practice run on your hair style for the day.  This is also the time to ensure all your waxing requirements are up to date, so be sure to book in advance for everything from an eyebrow wax to a brazilian or a chest wax for the guys.”

The day before.   It’s time for a manicure and pedicure and a full body massage to calm nerves and relax you before the big day.

 

The Day of your Wedding.   A walk by the beach, then relax in your own private geisha plunge tub for a relaxing soak, choose from our range of rejuvenating bath blends to ensure you feel great for the entire day. After your bath, our in-house stylists will attend to the hair and make-up needs of yourself and your entire wedding party. You may wish to enjoy champagne and canapés together.  Then take a deep breath and savour and enjoy your special day!
